ABOUT BIOMAGCENTRAL

The BIOMAG conferences promote scientific and medical advancements in biomagnetism, which is the phenomenon of magnetic fields produced by living organisms. Biomagnetic signals from humans can be measured from organs such as the heart, brain, gut, and spinal cord. These signals are can be measured with highly sensitive magnetic sensors. Biomagnetism also has important research connections with novel sensor developments, multimodal imaging, and magnetic nanoparticles.

BiomagCentral aims to bring together the full array of scientists and clinicians who are involved in all domains of biomagnetism research and its many applications in medicine. The website functions are to:

  • Provide information on research and clinical applications of biomagnetism.
  • Allow an international group of editors from the biomagnetism community to curate information.
  • Advertise events and workshops to the biomagnetism community.
  • Help the biomagnetism community to network and share resources.
  • Archive information from past BIOMAG conferences.
